Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg

We loved the location and found transport into the city centre cheap, reliable, convenient and easy. Our room was spacious, comfotable , spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It was lovely to have two comfortable arm chairs to relax in and a desk to sit at and plan our next day's itinerary. The bathroom was very well equipped and clean. We loved the location and breakfast was excellent. A wide choice of beautifully prepared food. The only caveat would be that the coffee was mediocre. Overall outstanding in every respect.

this is my second stay at the hotel. out of the Hussle and bustle of the trade show i was attending and not marking up prices when the show is on. this place is great were indusial meets modem. as the hotel was busy we were upgraded to a suite. which was nice and roomie. what also fills you with joy is when your taxi driver announces this is one of the best hotels in Hamburg. we will be back in 2 years time for the next show.

It is very lovely to be there in such a beautiful hotel! It is very nicely made, includes a spa area and a few entertaining options such as a billiard and an in-house restaurant. The location is very easy to reach and the Ottensen neighbourhood offers a vibrant atmosphere.

The hotel is easily reachable by car and public transport (which you should use to get around Hamburg). The rooms are spacious and look lovely. There is no obvious wear and tear and the bathroom and shower were just as spacious as the room. The bed was very comfortable and big. The hotel staff were all friendly. The bar has a really good selection and the female bartender knows her stuff. Scotch is served correctly with water and chocolate.
